This is the third and final part of the installment we have created for infographic creation. The objective of this part is to help intermediate to advanced visual communicators factor in the importance of making a content worthy infographic that the audience can benefit from.

It is no secret that content marketing is taking over traditional advertising, in terms of cost, distribution and effectiveness. Content marketing has been coined as one of the most innovative modes of marketing conceived.

In this study, Visually and JBH provided insights as to how content marketing is faring in this merry wonderland of advance digital marketing. It indicated that content marketing is and still going to be  the most preferred method in any marketing campaign from both B2B and B2C audiences.

It also predicted that  most of the  30 %  of the  more than 600  marketers, that were asked,  will greatly increase their investments to support content marketing campaigns, hence the pressure to deliver highly informative and entertaining content to each audience that they have.

Content marketing is the potent force that greatly drives result and is the top digital marketing tool for any brand or industry. This report also identified the most common objective for marketers this year, as part of their content strategy in place, it is said that follower and customer loyalty will be the primary objective, followed by brand awareness campaigns and finally boost their current engagement by providing more than adequate content and offering more information and delivering helpful ideas that each industry audience can greatly benefit from.

As we have briefly discussed in part one of this series, Information Overload (IO) has led to the development of visual communication tools.  As shown in the above infographic, visual presentations dates back to even before the birth of Christ.  Visual communication has been vital in history narration, as evidenced by ancient writing and drawings, recovered by archeologists from all over the world that documented how the first inhabitants of the world, lived.

In the last 2 decades, studies have shown that information has grown to 5 times faster that it did in 1986 - 2014. The rapid growth of information has brought the onset of using infographics to limit the time one has to learn about something.  This infographic best describe how and why visual is more competent that text data.

Having an infographic on your platforms will help you standout from the newsfeed text jungle.

Facebook insights have significantly taught us that visual content gets more engagement than text posts. It's not a surprise that companies you find actively on Social Media platforms invest on visual content creation because of the effectiveness it offers.

Third-party social media scheduling tools are constantly working on their platforms to improve image delivery on the social media platforms that they host. Hootsuite, for example, has installed the capability of visuals showing up on Twitter feed when scheduled on their platform.

Pinterest now offer business accounts to subscribers in order for the users to effectively share valuable piece of content that they have. Tailwind, another scheduling tool for Pinterest has made it even easier to just collect images online and schedule them at will to show up on Pinterest profiles at any given time.
