A good picture will make your content stand out. There are pictures that have been overused, try to remain away from those. You want these photos to be as unique as your content.

This is a great resource of free images for business or personal use. Every day photographers add a series of new photos in high resolution format which you can use for pretty much anything. It's not a huge library but quality of images are great and grows daily.
A site of Getty Images has millions of images and other visuals at a low cost. It's not free but the photos are affordable.

There are of course many more resources, but these are a few to get you started.
Illustrate your post with screenshots. If you want to explain how to do something, it's easier if you show it!
Take a screenshot for every step of the process, after you're done you can create a collage with all of them to make it more appealing.
The important thing is that you keep the entire process very simple for your audience to understand.

Are you planning to start a campaign to promote your products? Or do you need to present a new strategy to your boss or client?
There's nothing better than using an actual product shot.

Either way, make sure your product looks clean and professional. Avoid using poor quality photography / screenshots of your product.
Infographics have a tendency to go viral over other types of content (assuming they have the right content and informative) and users like sharing them.
Overall statistics show that sharing an infographic can help boost your traffic by about 12%.
Creating a professional infographic would take more time than other types of visual content, in particular because they are composed of multiple objects and pieces of content. But it can be worth the investment.
